Sunstar Caravans was founded in 1998 by a group of engineers and outdoor enthusiasts who wanted to bring more comfort to remote travel. We started with a small workshop, a handful of apprentices, and a belief that Australian-made caravans should be rugged enough for the outback yet refined for long stays.
Over the decades we've grown into a full-scale design and manufacturing studio, but the spirit of our early days remains. Every Sunstar caravan is still hand-finished in Melbourne, using locally sourced materials and partner components that we trust to last. We obsess over suspension geometry, storage ergonomics, energy management and interiors that feel like home.
Today our range spans off-road tourers, luxury couples vans and family bunk layouts, yet each build carries the same promise: reliable craftsmanship backed by a team that travels the same tracks as our customers. We continue to innovate with lighter composites, smarter power systems and future-focused sustainability practices, ensuring every journey is better than the last.
